Current Clinical Studies
Note: Vidacare currently has the following clinical study underway:
Title: A Trial of the Vidacare® Powered Bone Marrow Aspiration and Core Biopsy Systems (OnControl™by Vidacare) Compared to Traditional Manual Devices
Study Design: This multi-center, prospective, randomized controlled trial will compare standard manual bone marrow aspiration and core biopsy devices to the new powered bone marrow aspiration and core biopsy devices for use in the iliac crest to diagnose diseases and monitor the course of disease and medical therapy. The study will further compare the time to insertion, the patients' pain level, insertion success rate, and quality of yield of these devices. There will be two arms to the study. One will be for patients requiring bone marrow aspiration only, and the second will be for patients that require a core biopsy, with or without bone marrow aspiration.
