Crash Cart

When medical emergencies require immediate clinical assessment, stabilization and treatment of the patient to prevent morbidity and mortality, emergency crash carts provide critical access to the right medication to resolve the problem.  Selections of drugs that are most effective in these situations are kept in "crash carts" throughout hospitals.  With many of these cases having to do with disturbances in cardiac rhythms, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest and severe allergic reactions, there are increased instances of nurses and physicians that attempt to insert an IV only to find that it is challenging or will take too long.  For these situations, the EZ-IO® product system stored as a regular element on the crash cart would enable them to quickly and easily administer these drugs when IV access is impossible or will take too long.
